GOTCO: Great Outdoor Transportation Company provides custom, private charter transportation for your recreational needs! Specializing in convenient transportation options that allow you to make the most of your time, by enjoying more outdoors and spending less time driving.

Available Services:

Although the COVID-19 pandemic seems to have come to an end, we are continuing to provide shuttles to our customers in a safe and reasonable manner. Please contact us with any questions or concerns you may have. We are here to serve you!

Our GOTCO drivers are practically private guides! Besides being safe and reliable drivers, many of them have significant experience in the backcountry and on the rivers and can offer helpful advice, provide extensive background information on the area, and point out major landmarks. GOTCO vehicles are late model SUVs that almost have more character than our drivers!

Sublette County, Wyoming is our primary area of operation. It is a strikingly vast area where the high desert meets rugged granite peaks. It is approximately the size of the State of Connecticut, with a population of approximately 10,000 people. Pinedale is the county seat and where our headquarters are located. The closest commercial airport is Jackson Hole located 87 miles away from Pinedale. The next closest airport is Rock Springs Airport which is located 110 miles away from Pinedale. Sublette County is comprised of almost 80% public land bordered by the Wind River Mountain Range to the north and the Wyoming Range to the west, as well as a large amount of BLM and State lands. It is a long way between locations in this wide open country we call home and some of our shuttles can take up to 8 hours to complete, many with more than 60 miles of rough dirt road. Most of the area, including trailheads, have poor cell phone service, if any, so prior reservations are necessary. Communication of your needs and expectations before entering the backcountry is of key importance! Please see the map below to get the lay of the land…
